To celebrate that I'm animating again I made this little .gif. I don't dare guessing how long it has been since I was flipping digital pages the last time.
I've wanted to do gif-illustrations for a while now, and finally I got my self together. I also did the animation for this one in photoshop, and wasn't being to critical since i wanted it done fast, and I'm not too familiar with its system.
And read a book.. you'll get nice teeth.. or girls/boys.. and they might be nice.

A drawing from the project I'm working on currently. It's still too early to tell where it's going style-wise, but I'm thrilled about the project and I'm looking forward to a couple of intense months. Will share some more when it is appropriate.

These are some explorational sketches for a short comic based on an excerpt from a book (1Q84), I'm doing as an exercise. I'm testing how fast I can get to a decent look. These are ball-point pen sketches, no clean-up, and digitally colored. I've also added some of the panel thumbs, if you think that's of any interest.

I have neglected this blog lately, but since a lot has happened meanwhile I guess it's ok? This is a quick watercolor-sketch I have mocked around with in photoshop. Next up will be some sketches for a short comic I'm working on, so stay tuned. Hope you all are doing great out there,

So I'm still without a job, but definitely not without work.
There's a couple of interesting projects in the making at the moment, and I'm getting a lot of drawing done. Sadly I'm not cleared to show you that stuff yet, but I can show you a bit from the cover-illustration that I'm working on for my own comic. You might recognize him, if you've been around these parts before.

? - So Mark, have you ever drawn a zombie?
Mark - Yes, as you can see, I have.
? - But this is not Just an average zombie, is it?
Mark - Ehm.. No! This is a zombie/robot/Cy-Zombie.. and street.
? - But.. it's also slightly girlish??
Mark - I'm Sorry.. what's that?
? - I mean, apart from you being a complete child. And drawing, on the top of your head, mixed together things. It's right legs' knee bends inwards while running, and it's arms dangles uncontrollably after it!?
Mark- Well, I guess that's just..
Mia - MAAARK ??? (capitol letters, because it's loud, but from the other room)
Mark - ...
Mia - ARE YOU WASTING TIME ON THE INTERNET AGAIN?
Mark - no..
Mia - ... ?
Mark - eeEEEHM... NO!?
Mia - GO TO BED, IT'S STUPID!!!
? - yea Mark, go to bed, you're being really lame!
Mark - Hey, it was you, who asked me about the drawing!
? - Your girlish drawing.. and childish??
Mark - You're entitled to not-liking it...
Mia - MARK, I'M GONNA TURN OF THE INTERNET NOW!
Mark - NOO, WAIT JUST A S......

I'm animating sandstorms and tiger heads at the moment, and needed a little break from that. So i made this sketch, sort of a remix between something old, something new and... hmm. Hope y'all are doing great.

The Water-Master, is a character from a story I'm working on at the moment. I hope to post the very beginning of it, in a not too distant future.
